I’ve recently installed opensuse 12.3 and I found these big issues:
- My internet connection is too much slower than after.
- I cannot find any repository for 12.3, so I can’t continue working with this OS
Do you have any clue why this is happening ? And when packman, apache, php modules, etc repositories will be ready for adding ?
Thanks in advance for any feedback

Gnome, KDE? Did you use a dvd or a live cd to install? What kind of network connection are you using?

This sounds like a network problem; Not a problem with the repository.

I do not know about the others, but I am already using Packman.
I used packman, and also the restricted format one, and the one for the Catalyst drivers. ( closed source ati driver)
I have not found any repo which is not yet already up to date,
Downloading games in steam shows my connection is as fast as ever. ( +/- 2.9 MB/s )
Downloading software from the repo’s, with the same speed.
And because my connection is advertised as 25Mb down, I am happy
( 25 / 8 = 3.1 if this confuses you, ignore it)
To test your connection, you can try this:

(I just tried it works on Linux)
