When I try to turn up the volume using the slider in Amarok anything over roughly 16% and the sound starts to get lots of static. I tried doing the same thing in Banshee and it worked just fine to turn up the volume to max and the quality was still great. Any reason why Amarok wouldn’t be working as good?
I am currently running openSuSE 64 with an XFi Sound Blaster.
