Poor quality of sound

My sound isn’t as good as there is Windows, especially basses are distorted. I didn’t installed any sound drivers myself because I didn’t find them.

My laptop: HP Pavilion dv6 1306ew

My audio:

I do not know why the sound quality is poor with your HP.

As a general note thou, for future help, instead of running " hwinfo --sound" " , IMHO a far better diagnostic script to run, to obtain information, is the following sent as a regular user (with regular user permissions) in a konsole:

/usr/sbin/alsa-info.sh

Note also, there are equalizers that work with pulse audio that users can install and use to tune one’s audio frequency response with.
