Hey,
i thought about a linux user interface in point’n’click style. but i have, at this point, no idea how to realize somethin like that.
there should be orders like “USE data WITH trash” or “OPEN firefox” like in those point’n’click adventures.
I’ve paint what i was thinking about… (it was just a 5min work, don’t be mean)

what do you think about such a project? And do you have any ideas how i could begin?
Hello paratux and welcome to the community!
It sounds very original and quite fun, although I don’t think I would use it.
I would try, but using it would slow me down.
About programming it, you should learn a programming language.
Do you have any experience programming?
If not I recommend you start simple, make a imageviewer or a calculator or something .
This way you’ll get some experience and when you think your ready think everything through before writing the code.
I don’t want to discourage you but this isn’t the simplest project.
Best of luck!

i’m not absolutely certain what you have in mind, but i think before you
start programming you have a look at where Android and/or Unity are
today with interface design…as i have a feeling the folks now headed
toward a better pod/phone/pad/tablet interface have already begun the
work you have envisioned…
then again, maybe not…maybe what have dreamed is what they search
for…if so, i’d advise you to patent the idea before anything
else…and, send me a new Mercedes or BMW sports car as a thank you for
this otherwise free advice.
