plzzzzzzzzzz we need other server in egypt and africa
you can see the speed here
I think it might be way more slower than you might expect for someone in Africa, since IIRC wouldn’t a download from, say, Western Europe involve a trip over that extremely long underwater cable that got snipped a while back?
I may have just put my foot in my mouth here, though…

{Chuckle} I always like to remember that it’s only the FIRST packet that is
slow… the rest are all bumped up behind it in the wires…
Kinda like shoving ping-pong balls through a paper-towel tube… the first
one has to go all the way through, but the second and others are exactly
one ball’s width behind it.
{Smile} Yes, that’s simplistic and you’re likely thinking I’m an idiot…
almost right! But I grew up with heathkit and even a few years tending and
maintaining a nuclear reactor… so yes, I DO know how 'trons work.

perhaps you could help by maybe contacting the nearest Linux User Group (see http://www.linux.org/groups/) and organizing a search for someone (perhaps a
university) to host a mirror in your country/area…
