Plymouth removed, but not seeing boot messages

I removed Plymouth via “zypper rm Plymouth”, but when the system boots, I’m not seeing any boot messages. Is there a kernel parameter I must set?

Yast -> Bootloader -> Boot Loader Options -> Optional Kernel Command Line Parameter

and remove the option “quiet”.
