Hi all
my laptop is a acer aspire 5715z with a atheros ar5007eg wireless card
I have a dual boot with winblows because i cant get madwifi get to work on opensuse 10.2
i cant upgrade opensuse till i have wireless
the reason is because its on my work with and i cant download too large files and has a wifi spot
i installed madwifi like this unpack the file and in terminal make in madwifi placed on desktop and make install
but still i cant find my network wireless card
only eth0 and lo
iwconfig says no wireless extensions:’(:’(:’(
ndiswrapper diddnt work out ether
im getting pretty frustrated and was planning to throw my laptop 5 stories down
all the time i got to reboot to winblows and burn madwifi things on cd and reboot again
i read all the tuts on the whole web including this site for solutions even video tuts like youtube
hope you guys got a solution
