Is there any Ncurses FTP client that support SFTP and key auth?

thanks.

Hi
What about midnight-commander (mc) or just scp and sftp from the CLI?

Tried mc but it keep giving vague error “unabe to chdir to xxxx”. Pretty sure I have input everything correctly.
Or maybe mc doesn’t support key authentication?

Im transferring lots of individual files and directories with annoyingly long and unique names between two remote server.

Having sort of gui to allow me to traverse through remote directory with minimum typing would be good.

Ah. Then you need something like mc, but part of the functionality was
removed due to a not solved bug :-/

I can’t find the reference in this laptop; I must have it on the desktop
machine. I’ll try to search for it later. Ping me if I forget.

I haven’t tried it, can “tree” work on an FTP remote directory?
As for transferring files around on a remote server (not client <>server), that can be a problem with the classic command line FTP client. Don’t know if the enhanced FTP client addresses this fundamental FTP issue.

Found it. Thread started 201412 on maillist
