could someone please list the files that are used in the order they are used in a standard install of suse 11.3? or a pointer if this is in another file some where.

IIRC isn’t there an install.log post installation?
Note, any install.log is different for each PC you’d install 11.3 unless they have exactly the same hardware and software.
Log onto any box and use the command “rpm -qa --last”, which will list all currently installed rpms in the reverse chronological order of their installation along with the date and time the package was installed down to the second.
