We are only talking about Leap 15.1…

So you are not running an kernel from kernel:stable.

Post zypper lr -d
zypper se -si kernel-default

I am running kernel from kernel:stable:

Post it here and let zypper do the vendor-change.

to get the English translation for commands you can use LANG=C before the command:

gosh what a pity…
I must have done something wrong
After rebooting, when trying to boot again
A message appears saying “You must load the kernel first”
And the system does not go up

zypper kernel ran, but after rebooting the new system does not go up,

Hi
You likely need more that just the kernel-default, possibly need firmware files etc, do a zypper dup against the kernel:stable repository

zypper dup --from 1

That’s the result

sergio@netBook:~> su
Senha:
netBook:/home/sergio # LANG=C zypper dup --from 1
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...
Computing distribution upgrade...

Nothing to do.
netBook:/home/sergio #

1-Considering that I have a new installation with no advance and also considering that this noteBook works well with TumbleWeed running on a penDrive, isn’t it better for me to install TumbleWeed and forget about Leap 15.1?
2-What is the reason people choose one of these options:
TumbleWeed or Leap?

Please, no more to do?

Hi
I would go with Tumbleweed, I use it as a primary desktop, there have been a couple of hiccups after updates, but nothing tumbleweed-cli rollback didn’t fix…

Ok I will say goodbye to Leap 15.1 sadly,
Please tell me how I do a tumbleweed-cli reversal …

sudo zypper in tumbleweed-cli
tumbleweed --help
