What did you download suse enterprise or opensuse ?
dobby

Most of us download openSUSE and not SLED (SuSE Enterprise Desktop). I confess I did not realize one could download SLED. Reference one’s keyboard, sometimes if it is a USB keyboard, one has to ensure their keyboard is set to legacy mode in their PC’s BIOS, in order for it to be recognized during an install. On other occasions one has to hold down either the <shift>, or the <alt> key or the <ctrl> key (or maybe a combination of those ? ) during the CD boot, in order for the keyboard to be recognized (I can never remember which).

Reference your password problem, note that when one types a password, typically one gets no feedback (hence anyone leaning over your shoulder while you type the password, will not see the password). Also, both username and password are “case sensitive”, so be certain to use the appropriate mix of upper case and lower case, exactly as how you entered it when you first installed.

Good luck.

Hi
Do you have a USB to PS/2 convertor and a PS/2 port on your system? If
so try that.
