Hi there!
Did some hardware changes and thought it was time to do a fresh reinstall of Tumbleweed, so I did that yesterday and chose the new grub-bls option. My problem is that the grub fonts size and the Tumbleweed logo at boot are damn huge and I have no idea where can I change that, read all I could about grub-bls but no info on this topic. All I knew about grub/ grub2 is no longer working (as I have no /et/default/grub file anymore and from what I looked in the files in /boot/efi/EFI/opensuse I couldn’t find anything to let me change the resolution.
Can anyone please help me do it?
Thanks in advance!
Right now, you cant, I got same issue, I suppose one day they will add it or something… You know, new toy, at least it works, ugly as hell, but it works.
- Open bug report. As long as nobody tells about problem nothing happens.
- Switch back to
grub2-efi. Edit/etc/sysconfig/bootloader, setLOADER_TYPEtogrub2-efi, runupdate-bootloader --reinit. Make sureSECURE_BOOTis set toyes, or you can configure as usual using YaST.
Thanks! I can live with that until a solution will come up and I will send a bug report asap.
