Playing streaming Windows media in Firefox 3

Hello,

must say that OpenSuSE is one excellent distro ! Only thing I did not succeed to setup yet is streaming Windows media in Firefox 3.

Some say that mPlayer does the trick. I have build it from source but there is no way to set up Firefox 3 to work with it.

To give you more insight - this is radio stream I am trying to listen:

Plavi Radio

Is there a solution to play this stream ?

Try the mplayer-plugin, works here fine.

You need not have compiled mplayer from source. Installation from the Pacman repository via yast-package-manager is the best way to install software + it saves you compilation headaches. You may install mplayer and mplayer-plugin from Yast -> Software Management. Works flawlessly.
