I am interested in how to play youtube videos though totem. I got to Movie > Open location and paste the URL of the video and it says I need the text/html decoder. How do I download this decoder.

if I recall, you need a plugin installed to make it work. In Totem, you have the possibility to add plugins through the preferences.
I went into edit > plugins and chose youtube Browser and made no difference. I go to search for it when it asks me to and it couldn’t find it.
I know I can go to youtube to watch them. but I am interested.
