Play video stream with VLC - after reboot only after logout/login

Hi!

TW 64, KDE, latest updates with VLC 2.2.4-15.3-x86_64 from packman repo and matching vlc-codecs.

I have some video streams (raspi cams) running on VLC (http://192.168.0.x:8082) all day and for some time now, the screen on VLC stays black after fresh booting and then starting the stream.

If I do a snapshot in VLC, there is the actual picture from this stream! But VLC stays black.

Solution I found: Log out and log in again, VLC shows video stream.

Any ideas what is going on here?

What i’ve found to fix this issue is to only have the official repos enabled and then use the software manager to switch to the OSS repo, accept the changes and then incluse the real VLC repo Index of /SuSE/Tumbleweed/ enable it and then switch packages to the ones in that repo.
