Plasmoid-Networkmanagement and Mobile Broadband - Will it ever work ?

Hello,

after installing oS 12.1 and configuring a broadband connection via an SonyErricson F3507g internal modem, plasmoid-networkmanagement simply will no connect.

After choosing the connection, it’s starting to configure but after approx. 20s it says it can’t connect.

There’s no real hint in /var/log/Networkmanager:

I changed to gnome nm-applet where everything works, will open a bugreport, too.

Created Bug-Report: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=732015.

Try deleting all old connection definitions in KDE. Then redefine them.

I think you are seeing a conflict between setting made with an earlier version, and the way they are defined in the newest version.

Hello,

unfortunately it was an clean installation with a new configured connection according to my provider (that worked at least with oS 11.3 and as stated after changing to the gnome applet with 12.1).

Hello again,

after online-update of some networkmanager-packages yesterday, broadband is working :O. Bugreport will be changed immediately.

Kind regards,
