Plasmoid install - Cmake error

I’m sorry if this has been posted before but I can’t get this installation to work . Here’s the error I get :

cmake ../ -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kde4-config --prefix`

I installed CMake and on these forums I read about installing various dev packs such as LibKde , KDEbase etc. But I can’t install them through Install Software because I get all kind of warnings and conflicts . Is that because I updated to KDE 4.2 ?

Thanks in advance . I forgot to mention that I’m new to Linux and OpenSuse .

Which plasmoid are you trying to install?

I’m trying to install a simple application launcher called daisy-0.0.4.13 . I also tried to install a program called John The Ripper with no success .

What conflicts are you getting when you try to install all the dev packages?

the daisy plasmoid is in the kde 4.3 repo’s not sure about the 4.2 or 4.1

I keep getting a error installing too if anyone knows what it is that would be great…This is daisy that i’m trying to install but really i get this on any plasmoid installs…

You need to install cmake.

Make sure to have at least

kernel-source
gcc (which should pull in linux-kernel-headers too)
make

and you should make sure you have the development packages for qt and kde.
