Plasma hangs after qt-pin (KWallet) password entered

Greetings all.

I Solved the issue by restoring the previous /etc/passwd file in snapper. Once I typed in my password into the KWallet dialogue, the system would hang after a few seconds. If I CTRL+ALT+Backspace the hang contiued. Cold booting did not resolve the issue. I believe I am on snapshot 20170112.

In addition, when I do a zypper dup I get this:

edward@linux-azyr:~> sudo zypper up
