Plasma crashing after KDE 4 update

I just updated all of KDE 4.2 from the factory repo, now it’s version
90.1. After logging out, then back in, plasma crashes and my desktop is
black.

I can still launch apps with alt > F2 but if I minimize any windows
there’s no way to get them back. Anyone else getting this or know a
workaround?

I’m also using qt4.5 and kwin with effects enabled.

Nevermind. I discovered that quite a few kde packages didn’t get
updated. After doing those updates everything is back to normal.

really? cause I tried qt4.5 and plasma just kept crashing and afik all
rpms updated

Suse 11.1 x64, Kde 4.2beta, Opera 10.x weekly
