Plasma audio settings multiples devices not shown

Hi there,

In Plasma 5.5.5 I am trying to switch output streams by default to a Bluetooth speaker. But even after connecting it, under “Audio and Video” settings under “Default Audio Playback Device Preferences”, I only see “PulseAudio Sound Server”. Here it is supposed to show individual sound cards and devices. I am using the gstreamer phonon backend. I’m attaching a screenshot.

Have you tried installing pulse audio volume control (pavucontrol) and then using pulse audio redirect the output sound to your bluetooth device ?

I suppose that would be a simpler option. I just prefer the Plasma method when using Plasma, since the “Audio Setup” link in the kmix menu opens the Plasma KCM module.
