Plasma 6.2.1 on AMD with Wayland

There is a post on the openSUSE Factory list about KDE 6.2.1 crashing on Wayland with AMD graphics and that the fix will be in version 6.2.1.1.

My Tumbleweed installation is still on 6.2.1 and I am able to login and use it with a Wayland session on an older AMD GPU (integrated RS780L (Radeon 3000)) using the radeon driver.

Wayland sessions tend to be slower overall, but everything speeds up when I switch the session to X11.

I am willing to try to help in this technical help forum, but I fail to see the problem you want help with.

I wasn’t asking a question. As it didn’t crash on my system, perhaps the reported issue only affects certain AMD GPU’s.
