So I made an unfortunate mistake of disconnecting an external display from my laptop immediately after I started the shutdown sequence. The screen went dark for several minutes and I was in a rush to leave where I was so I forced the shutdown with the power button. When I booted up my laptop everything was good except when I logged in and got this mess which persists. When I reconnect to another external monitor things are “normal” again but when I disconnect I get a dark screen.
Is there any configurations or cache I can reset to get my laptop in working order again? I’m running Plasma 5.5.5 on Leap 42.1. The external monitors were connected via VGA.
