Dear Opensuse 13.1 Users:
According to what I read, within temperature constraints, I should be able to get my 6386SE’s above the default 2.8GHz clock up to around 3.2GHz. In my BIOS, this appears to require “Core Performance Boost” enabled, which it is, but I don’t thing cpufrequtils supports this. It reports 2.8GHz as the max clock available.
What I’m wondering is if anyone has gotten their 63xx Opterons up to the Full Load Turbo rating, and, if so, how did you do it? Is this something that the *nix community has embraced yet?
