Pidgin doesn't exit

Hi,

I’m using Yahoo with Pidgin. Very often, when I login -> online -> offline -> quit (right click on tray icon -> select “Quit”), Pidgin doesn’t exit. The icon is still in the system tray and freezing (not popping up menu when I right click). Pidgin process is still running, and I have to kill it manually.

Anyone who has experienced this problem, please help!

What version of Pidgin are you using?

This problem was a known issues in a recent build. version 2.5.5 was released this week, and is available on the community gnome repo.
