Hello!
I have worked endlessly and finally have results: there is now a Pidgin/Finch/libpurple repo available! Current version in the repo as of this post is 2.7.1. The source code has not been altered in any way. You may ‘zypper ar’ this repo using:
pidgin
Xlib: extension “Generic Event Extension” missing on display “:1058.0”.

Pidgin 2.7.1 has segfaulted and attempted to dump a core file.
This is a bug in the software and has happened through
no fault of your own.
Please make sure to specify what you were doing at the time
and post the backtrace from the core file. If you do not know
how to get the backtrace, please read the instructions at GetABacktrace – Pidgin – Trac
ΑκυÏώθηκε (core dumped)
Probably because there’s less developers now that SuSE isn’t a company anymore? I don’t truly know the reason or even if the previous statement holds any merit.
Anyways, Pidgin 2.7.3 is in the repo AND a Facebook plugin! Yay!
@assas1n: As I understand it, omega contacts error is fixed in 2.7.7, but there is only 2.7.6 in this repository available. We need to wait for repository update
