Picasa

I am using openSUSE 11.0 and trying to install Picasa. I have tried to find it in YaST but it doe not show up. Is there another way to download and install it?

If you follow the Google Linux Software Repositories instructions, you can just add the google repo and then install picasa.

If you have any problems, let me know and I will help you install it.

thanks for the google repo, although that doesn’t have picasa.

regards.

I have tried to install the signing key but I keep getting ERROR: 404 not found and i think I have downloaded it but now I am not sure.

I have gotten the signing key installed but when i go to gnome terminal and try to add the Google repository is sais I need to run the command as root. I have signed on as root but it does not seem to accept that. Is there another way to sign on as root for gnome terminal?

I installed Picasa for that repo last night.

After you add the repo, refresh your repos before searching for Picasa.
