phpMyAdmin config file question

Hello,

I wanted to install LAMP. I did everything you wrote in LAMP tutorial, but it is totally mess in my head when I started to setting up phpMyadmin configuration file config.inc.php . Where to change things you are suggested (: in those comented parts, or before? If it is one of comented parts, tell me first or second?) What about Storrage settings? I work on OpenSuSE 13.1. Thank you for answer my question.

Vladimir,

As I look at the information on the wiki page you referenced, it seems to
indicate that you should just search for the information in each line in
your config file and replace the values (and uncomment it). PHP doesn’t
care about the order, so you could also just add it to the end of the
file, as long as the values aren’t set earlier in the file (and actually,
PHP may not care about that either, since the new value would just be
replaced by the old value).

I’ve found phpMyAdmin to work really well on openSUSE, though I haven’t
used this specific tutorial myself.

Perhaps someone else who has can comment as well?

Jim is right it doesn’t matter where the oparticular variable as long is haven’t been set twice, but I’d preffer the beggining of the file up to the section second server, (I suppose you’ve one mysql server.)
