:’( I am trying to install open suse 10.2 in phenom (AMD 64x4). It was stucked while a hard disk is formmatted. So I am wondering that open suse 10.2 can be installed in a phenom CPU?
I suggest you google your question, or take a look at phoronix.com. I strongly suspect that the kernel included with the 10.2 installation did not have Phenom quad support, and even if it did, early on there were issues (since resolved).
