I installed OpenSUSE 11.1 and everyhting was going well for about a week, and then the last time I rebooted it I got Penguins walking around a snowey environment while the boot menu was asking me if I wasted to load in failsafe mode or regular…? Anyone know anything about this…? The screen has gone back to the regular grren theme now but I don’t want it to do this anymore.

Of course not. How could you possibly suggest such a thing?
See, linux is no good: Easter eggs for Christmas…
Smart people never search, they only find.
I, and the grandchildren, want to keep the penguins. I altered the probability to 100% in gfxboot.cfg and the penguins became permanent until a couple of days ago. Since then the penguins don’t appear. Please can anyone direct me to another script that only chooses the penguin option between certain dates?
Thanks in advance.
