I have tried to install PDF Chain from software.opensuse and sourceforge. They seem to install okay, but immediately crash (all variants)…
Has anyone been successful?

Update! I have done it. The Manual method worked…
zypper addrepo https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:Rallaz/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/home:Rallaz.repo
zypper refresh
zypper install pdfchain
