PC stops at "Reached target Graphical Interface" but sometimes/seldom it works though

I have problem with my laptop running opensuse tumbleweed (installed two weeks ago with the newest tumbleweed iso and is updated regularly).
Since a few days i have the problem that in 4 of 5 booting attempts the pc stops at “Reached target Graphical Interface”
the pc does not totally hang up, i can use CTRL + ALT + 1 to open a console and restart the pc (which works fine), but i cannot start the graphical login nor kde or gnome.
But in one of 5 cases it works fine but it is a bit annoying to always restart the pc a few times before i can use it.

The PC is a Sony VAIO notebook with two graphic cards (intel and amd) but the intel driver was used by default and i did not tried to chance that (i did not manually installed the AMD driver)

How are you updating? You know the only way for tumbleweed is zypper dup

Yes via zypper dup
but there where two times where the gnome auto update wanted to “restart and install” some updates too, which i did, but i am pretty sure that the problem was there before i did the first update that way.

Then this is the wrong forum, as tumbleweed has specific problems.
Please ask a moderator to move it (triangle report button).

Sorry, i thought this would be a more general problem (see this thread here: GUI not loading after installation - Install/Boot/Login - openSUSE Forums), but i reported the thread and asked for a move to the tumbleweed forum.

I will move this to the TW forum.

Moved from Install/Boot/Login as requested.

One of the updates (zypper dub) of the last weeks seem to have solved the problem, the pc has booted without any problems in my last tests.
