Patch/RPM Release Schedule

Hi All,

What is the typical patch release time for OpenSuse 11.1? It appears that neither ClamAV[1] or OpenSSL[2] have OpenSuse patches available since being disclosed on BugTraq[3,4].

I don’t want to patch by hand and then later break RPM.

there is no specific release time for patches. Usually, they try to push out updates as soon as possible, though they may be sometimes late

You could try to find pre-release RPMs in Factory. When they reach Update, the version will be bumped and you will get the update.
