Password settings?

Hello,

I’d like to know where I could set up when the root password is required. I need the password before login after booting, but whenever the screen saver appears, I have to enter it in order to get back to the desktop. How can I change that?

And sorry for my bad english

Are you using gnome or kde?
Basically you need to remove the lock screen option - But if you can’t find it I can show you, just tell me which you use

Check in Control Centre > Screensaver and uncheck any Lock screen in there
