I have 2 (quite old) 10GB SCSI U160 drives in RAID1 on an Adaptec AIC-7901 in my Dell Precision 670. For some reason whenever I try to install OpenSuSE 11.3/4 it recognizes the array, and the auto-partition setup configures the whole thing fine, but, when it gets to creating the partitions, it fails with a resource or device is busy error, and I don’t understand why. If anybody has experience with this issue and can help, I would really appreciate it. This annoyance is already putting me off of my first attempt at RAID or SCSI.
