After the installation openSuse don’t boot!!!
This has nothing to do with the partitioning. Did you check the integrity of the media before installing? And what are you seeing? (“don’t boot” is a rather vague description)
I use a DVD to install
after the installation the pc don’t reboot itself. And it’s me who shut it down and reboot it. At the starting it show me
opensuse
failsafe
windows
it’s only windows who boot corectly
Seems to me that perhaps the installation didn’t complete? Why did you manually shutdown/reboot? Sometimes the screen will go blank during installation without letting you know what’s going on, but it is in fact doing something.
I would suggest to begin the installation again (the installer should recognize the partitions from the previous attempt), but before doing so, verify that the md5sum/sha1sum of the DVD is correct.
Likely the motherboard is not good, and parameters like nolapic need to be passed to kernel at installation. To find out whether this correct, some steps must be done.
Try to run live with opensuse LiveCD 32 bit.
Update the BIOS. Disconnect the unused devices, and leave one hard drive only.
I think you are mixed up, look again at what I was asking. You are NOT using the DVD for this, just boot the computer and before it boots, start typing what it shows there.
