I am experiencing a freeze on oSUSE that lasts for around 30seconds every time i resume from suspend. Currently open programs seem to function ok (firefox, kwrite etc), however their use is limited until the freeze disappears.
It’s kind of hard to describe, but the freeze appears to be triggered to any file system access and lasts for around 30seconds… opening new programs, using the launcher, or if dolphin is already open, i am unable to browse the file system. existing tabs in firefox work fine, but new tabs wont open.
It only occurs once after each resume and then it’s fine until the next suspend/resume.

file server is running windows 2008r2, and i’m using a cifs mount in fstab to access it.
the freeze occurs using both wired and wireless connection on the problematic laptop.
