I want to set my laptop (11,1, KDE3.5 standard, to paranoid file permissions. Substantially this would be for me ideal, but I encounter the problem that when I set them, on the sudo request of password of root, it always tells me my password is wrong. With all evidence this is the foreseen behavior but I would need at least for communication WLAN and the PCMCIA card function have the possibility to run them with sudo command (as mobile computing gets troublesome if not).
Where can I set exceptions for single applications?
Can I set actually exceptions for single applications??
What would be the setting to allow for a selected application to run with sudo and with setting “paranoid file permissions”.

When you go into paranoid mode sudo doesn’t have rights to work with
