Pandora vs. Last.fm

HI,
I downloaded Adobe Air, both the rpm and the .bin versions. First I tried the rpm, it went through the motions of installing but just disappeared. then I tied your method with the .bin, got tot the installer, accepted the license, entered my root password, but it stopped installing with “an error occured. Adobe AIR could not be installed. Install either Gnome Keyring or KDE KWallet before installing Adobe AIR”. I opened Kwallet and tried again, but to no avail. I am running OS11.4 64 bit. What can I do to get this thing working?

Thanks.
Ron

I’ve successfully installed the Pandora Desktop App in Linux Mint but i’ve not had a go with it on OpenSUSE yet. I less than three Pandora through them i have discovered countless musicians who now make up most of my favorites.

Here are the Ubuntu/Mint instructions i have not been able to get the Pandora installer to work with AIR in OpenSUSE yet…

To use the Pandora screenlet or widget you just have to get the LINUX version of Adobe AIR.

Go here → Adobe - Adobe AIR

Download it to your desktop and follow these easy peasy lemon squeezy steps…

Right click on the icon for the .bin file and select Properties.

Backspace the filename until just .bin is gone.

Move to the Permissions tab and select Allow executing file as program.

Close

Double click on AdobeAIRInstaller and it is now executable and will install.

(Notice we did not even open Terminal for this)

Now to get the Pandora Widget…

Go HERE → Pandora Radio - Listen to Free Internet Radio, Find New Music

Download and make sure you allow the Adobe AIR Installer to open the program.

It installs itself.

Enjoy.
