I recently ran across the Chandler and Tracks GTD software packages. Neither is listed in any SuSE repos. They both look promising as GTD /PIM apps for Linux.
If somebody would care to package these, imo, that would be fantastic. If nobody volunteers, I’ll get thru it, sure enuff, but learning to build packages was not (previously) on my todo list, nor budgeted in my time allotments.
Now, you don’t think I’d really let you guys catch me missing THAT, do you? Hehe, not this time!
So I got all the down to where you say:
ASK A PACKMAN PACKAGER
But lets say the application is NOT there at all, no rpm, nor rpm source file, and you desparately need it. Well what many of us do is go to the Packman mailing list and ask that one of the packman packagers package the application for us. Packman Info Page
COMPILE YOURSELF
I don’t NEED these, but I do want them. So is this not the right spot to ask the Packman packagers to package the application?
Well, I don’t want to go all excessive, kowtowing, and banging my head on the floor 3 times, and all that, as I show respect and gratefulness — so just - thanks.
