Package Updater not working

Since a couple of days ago, out of the blue the package updater has stopped working. I get an error message saying ‘process aborted by user’. I have been able to update some package manually via the yast installer, but I guess that is not a solution likely to work in the long run.

Also, immediately after install trying to install packages via zypper returned an error that said ‘packagekit is working, do you want it to close’ (or something similar). That problemhas since disappeared, but this new one has turned up. Is there any way I can resolve the problem?

PS: I have a screen shot of the error, but couldnt find out how to attach it to this post.

You could opload it to http://paste.opensuse.org/. Select Image file from the top/right meny, set it to expire never and post the link.

Thanks for the link. I have posted the screen shot here:

Any suggestions?

Yep, this looks like an unsigned Flash package. Must say I don’t use flash anymore, but opening a terminal window and invoking

sudo zypper ref && zypper up

shoud at least provide more info.

AFAIK, Adobe’s repo is unsigned.
To use it, you will have to disable the signature check for that repo in YaST->Software Repositories or with “zypper mr -G XXX”.

Or (IMHO better), remove Adobe’s repo and install the package provided by Packman.
