I’ve been trying to get the latest git version of a monitoring applet working to no avail 
So I spotted on IRC #opensuse-gnome, FunkyPenguin had a link to this GitHub - paradoxxxzero/gnome-shell-system-monitor-applet: Display system informations in gnome shell status bar, such as memory usage, cpu usage, network rates…
So pulled down the git version, patched the meta data for GS 3.0.1 and here is what you get;

Package is here, the applet is in the extension rpm, the extensions is the overall package which you can install, but not necessary.
