Does openSUSE 11.4 support the new Intel P67 chipset and Intel SATA controller?

So this is the Intel chipset intended for Sandy Bridge CPU. Make sure you buy a motherboard with the B3 stepping rating, so that it has the fix for the four 3 GB SATA ports said to fail over time, otherwise it is actually a recalled chipset by Intel. I have a recalled one from MSI and it does work just fine with openSUSE 11.4, for now.

Thanks jdmcdaniel3! It works like a charm! I also have an affected P67 I don’t think i will send it in though as I am using the SATA 6Gb/s ports.
