Bad news on the one hand - might stifle things for a while - but could be good news in the long run if it prompts more diversity.
Also, not sure whether it is good PR for Apple now it is number 1 company. It could be seen as bully-boy tactics and backfie on Apple.

This stuffed any (already small) wish I might have had to buy apple stuff. In this place I’m currently working the company gives IPhones to every engineer. I said thanks, but no thanks. Sure it’s a great piece of harware, but the moral (mainly) and financial cost is too much for me. If I want a smartphone I’ll buy a Samsung Galaxy or HTC One with Android.
