Osrt-repo-checker directory in home -- what is it?

I just stumbled upon directory “osrt-repo-checker” in home. It looks to be openSUSE related. It is at the same level as my user main directory listing. It is not in my user home.

osrt-repo-checker is owner.

A quick internet search yielded no info. Anyone with some enlightenment?

A search of the correct spelling gives a description of it’s fuction as a tool for openSUSE developers.

I just had never seen it before.

No idea why it would have been installed, you can probably uninstall it; if anything, uninstalling it may tell you what installed it (or you could look at the zypper history log to see when it was installed and what was installed with it). It could be that it is incorrectly listed as a dependency for something you installed, in which case a bug report would be good so it can be removed.
