OS11.2: Problems with Java and Flash

Hi!
I just installed OS11.2 64bits version. I was recommended by several to go for 64bits.

It seems ok and now im testing it out.
Java is in fact not working in Firefox. Sun Java wasn’t installed and i installed Sun Java and Sun Java Mozilla Plugin in Yast.
Firefox still doesn’t have any Java-plugin.

Then i installed Opera10.10 and if i run Java-check i get: 1.6.0_0 but latest version installed is 1.6.0_17

Now Flash: Flash-player was installed automatic. It works good in Firefox, but not in Opera. Yes it works, but i can’t click on Full-screen then it hung.

I guess the problem is:
Java; I see that OpenJava is installed as default. You all know OpenJava doesnt work good enough to stop using Sun Java. Sun Java should be installed as default! I uninstalled OpenJava.
Sun Java Plugin for Firefox should be installed as default.

Flash; Since Opera10 is x86_64 and Flash is i586(32bits), then the problem occurred. Firefox is also x86_64, but Flash works greate in Firefox. This maybe is an Opera-issue.

Biggest problem now is Java! How do i get latest Sun Java and Java Plugin installed?

Hi!
Java:
It seems to be solved now. After i uninstalled OpenJava and restarted Firefox, then i had to activate(Turn on) Sun Java Plugin and then it works.
Java in Opera was fixed when i go into Preferences and change path to “amd64” and not “i586”. The “i586” didn’t even exists.

Flash:
I downloaded manual the Alpha-version of the 64bits version. I moved out flashlib from /usr/lib/browser-plugin and copied in the 64bits version into /usr/lib64/browser-plugin and now Flash works greate in Opera.
I check plugin with opera:plugins and it shows the right path(lib64).

It had to be fixed manual, but this should be fixed soon from OpenSUSE.
