OS 13.1 - Yast2 Scanner Configuration

Yes, it is the same error as the first post. At least, I had error messages related to ‘xinetd’ service. No, I do not trust myself to apply the patch.
In fact, I have apparently solved the problem for myself at least, by following carefully the instructions given by Brother for the installation of their drivers. It now works, but do not ask me why!

Cheers
Harvey

Running a HP G95(net) I always used the excellent hplip interface. Running a Brother MFC-7360N(net) I have installed the drivers from Brother’s homepage and then run some lines in the Konsole:

#Add network scanner entry
$ brsaneconfig4 -a name=SCANNER model=MFC-7360N ip=192.168.0.12
$
#Confirm network scanner entry
$ brsaneconfig4 -q | grep SCANNER
   0 SCANNER             "MFC-7360N"         I:192.168.0.12
$

So I have never tried Yast2 for setup. Thank you HW manufactures and the community of Linux that HW support is growing for every day :).
