OS 13.1: Wine & Teamviewer9 don't start anymore

Hi there,

although they were running when I installed them first, an event unknown to me must have changed/destroyed something in my OS installation. I can try to open these applications and in the KDE Panel it shows the framed application name and the mouse pointer changes to the jumping application icon, but after around 15 seconds all this disappears and … nothing happens. Absolutely nothing, no error message, no entry in the system log that would reference any of those applications involved and could give me a hint…

How can I handle this problem ? No idea if there is somewhere a log that would tell me a story about the crash and of course , as said, no message.

Skype, Firefox, Marble, VirtualBox etc. are running, uh, and yes Google Earth also crashes after a few seconds, but it opens a window before it crashes, so its different, although I also get no message or log entry from it too.

Yes, I have re-installed both applications without any success. Also tried an re-installation with Google Earth … same Problem. Use now Marble instead, Google is too dangerous.

Any ideas what could cause the problem or where to get/find more information ?

TIA , Joe

Update:

Have found a log created by the teamviewer … if there would only be a common rule where those logs could be found …

Yes, it stops at 15:45:01.897 suddenly and thats it.
Whats strange is that the log says that I would use OS13.1 32bit, which is wrong as I use the 64bit version ! Looks like it has got something in the wrong throat, huh ?
What is that DBUS thingy ? Sounds like a hardware problem or is it a virtual software problem ?

TIA, Joe

Again DBus and it looks like the teamviewer has triggered it.
Btw. I have no modem installed, so I have no idea what the request for the ModemManager is good for.

Joe

Nobody ? No ideas ?

Mhhh, seems to be a big problem then. So I maybe should open a ticket.
