userswitcher works somewhat. But it does not switch users anymore. Any idea?

I’ve not fully read either of those so don’t know how relevant they may be to your problem.

Some freezing occurred with amdgpu, but went away with keeping Tumbleweed up to date. The user switching issue started after upgrading the following packages to 20200917:
