Oracle releases VM VirtualBox 4.2

Hi
Very simple to see by browsing github for those that are wary GitHub - Jetchisel/VBoxAutostart: Autostart and Autosave of your vms

Sorry man i have no intention to crash on your thread also the zip file name speaks for itself and as a member of the community i have accepted the rules and regulations about being a member so posting an malicious link with a zip file will not come from me no sir. Thank you

I’m sure you can understand, though, why some people might be suspicious
of a link to a ZIP file; installation of code from unknown sources can be
a dangerous thing, and while it looks like you’ve been on OBS for a
little bit, you’re not well-known on the forums.

Looking at the contents of the zip file, this looks very useful (and
there are scripts and readme files in it). I’d been looking for
something like this myself, in fact, so I find it pretty useful.

Don’t take James’ caution as anything other than what it is - a
suggestion that those who may benefit from this to verify what they’re
downloading.

You might package this up and put it on OBS - that might help build some
trust.

Hi Jim, thanks for telling me to package this thing up. Now its in OBS the link is here. https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:jetchisel/systemd-vboxinit Honestly i have no plan to do it but since systemd is really going to be the default for future SuSE release’s then might as well do it. By the way if some of you folks did what was in that zip file i have link you can undo it first before installing this package. Again thank you sir.

Yet it would be nice if you posted a short paragraph telling what that
zip is for. If that purpose is interesting, people may look further and
download it.
