That is of course very personal and only to answer when you (I mean you in particular and not “the people”) have tried the different tastes.
One thing that stands out in openSUSE I think is YaST for system management.
(O, and btw do not use Apper).
What is Apper?
many have said that, do not use Apper
am only a linux newbie so do not know much
It is the applet in your KDE panel that says it does something with software updates. Use YaST > Software > Online update instead.
When you are a Linux newbie, what is then the use in giving you lectures about the differences between several distros?
I do not know why you have a PC with an operating system. Everybody has his/her own goals. But when you do not want to hobby in different Operating Systems (like someone who wants to use another car every day, that every day brings hinm to his working place on the same time), then use one that fits your needs at least reasonable and do not spend to much time in hopping around.

imo, this is the wrong forum for such question/discussion…
opinions work well in “soapbox”, “chit-chat” or even “looking for” or
“polls”

Thank you guys
and sorry for that rotfl!
just curious, like to ask questions
Long Live Linux!!!
Then, when they are technical questions ask them in the appropriate “Get help here” subforum.
And when they are just Chit-chat, ask them in General Chitchat.
There are people that are willing to help in technical problems, but are not willing to spoil there time on Cihtchat.
